Congratulations to Jodi-Lee Penfold and Clinton Gartrell who were married at Alsha Baylee Salers Stud last year. Jodi-Lee is the daughter of Alan and Sharon Penfold who are long time (28 years) Salers breeders in Western Australia. Their first animals were produced via semen from the bull Legacy, imported by John McKay from America.
A 6 year old Salers bull by the name of Alsha Baylee Daegan and a Drought Master bull by the name of Clinlee Plains Jester were involved in Jodi-Lee’s wedding ceremony, even walking down the aisle. The significance of both bulls is that Jodi-Lee has only known Salers cattle but she and Clinton have started their own Droughtmaster Stud so the bulls are part of Jodi-Lee’s past and also a part of her future. Alan said “Jodi-Lee and I walked behind Jester and Daegan they were both good, no shit on the red carpet.”
Congratulations and the very best for the future to Jodi-Lee and Clinton Gartrell on your marriage from the Australian Salers Society.
