Cara Park Salers had animals on display during day 4 of the Stock and Land Beef week at the combined field day held at the Mt Gambier Show grounds on the 1st of February.
The day started out cool with a number of early visitors joining Cara Park and other exhibitors for a coffee and bacon and eggs for breakfast. By mid-morning the weather had improved to become a pleasant day which encouraged an ongoing trickle of people through the gate.
During the Day Cara Park Salers received a number of positive comments on the quality of their display and the presentation of their animals. On display they had 2 weaner heifers, 5 weaner bulls and Cara Park Mate-It, a rising 2 year old bull. A further rising 2 year old bull was still in the paddock at home as they didn’t have space to bring him in for the display.

Cara Park Mate-It displayed with his ribbons and other ribbons the Cara Park 2017 show team were awarded
Late in the day an offer was made for Cara Par Mate-It which is in the process of being completed. He will move shortly to his new home in Victoria.
All in all a very successful Field day/display for Cara Park Salers.
Good weather, good people and good cattle.
